Bobble-head doll syndrome

Overview

A rare condition where a child's head bobs up and down continuously due to either fluid on the brain or a large cyst in the third ventricle of the brain.

Symptoms

* Continuous head bobbing * Rhythmic head extension * Rhythmic head flexion * Rhythmic arm extension * Rhythmic arm flexion * Fine tremor * Skin hypersensitivity * Mental retardation * Impaired vision * Hydrocephalus * Obesity * Cyst in third ventricle region
