Overview
A rare disorder involving progressive muscle wasting and weakness of variable severity depending on the exact origin of the genetic defect. The problem arises from defective processes at the junction of nerve and muscle cells
Symptoms
* Easily fatigued * Muscle weakness * Muscle wasting * Scoliosis * Limb weakness * Poor infant head control * Weak infant suck * Weak eye muscles * Contractures * Droopy eyelids

Prognosis
Prognosis of Myasthenic syndrome, congenital, slow-channel: severity of symptoms is variable and the extent of muscle groups involved is also variable; some become wheelchair dependent during childhood
