Obstructive asymmetric septal hypertrophy
Overview
A rare heart disorder where thickening of parts of the heart (wall separating the heart chambers) reduces the size of heart chambers and hinders the flow of blood.
Symptoms
* Breathing difficulty on exertion * Angina pectoris * Dizziness * Enlarged heart * Ventricular defect
Causes
* Cardiomyopathy, familial hypertrophic * Ventricular septal defect
