Proconvertin deficiency- congenital

Overview

A rare inherited blood disorder caused by a deficiency of a blood protein called Factor VII and resulting in poor blood coagulation. The severity of the condition is variable.

Symptoms

* Brain hemorrhage * Brain hemarthroses * Excessive menstrual bleeding * Hemorrhage following injury * Asymptomatic * Nosebleed * Bleeding into joints * Easy bruising * Excessive bleeding * Excessive bleeding following tooth extraction
