Bilateral Renal agenesis
Overview
A rare congenital malfromatin where the kidneys don't develop during the fetal stage resulting in insufficient amniotic fluid.
Symptoms
- Premature labor
- Breech delivery
- Low birth weight
- Missing kidneys
- Widely spaced eyes
Causes
- 14q+ syndrome - widely spaced eyes
- 18p minus syndrme - wide-set eyes
- 1q deletion - upward slanting space between eyelids
- 1q terminal deletin - upward slanting space between eyelids
- 2-methylbutyryl Coenzyme A dehydrgenase deficiency - vision problems
