The drug discovery effort for neurodegenerative diseases has been one of the major challenges and focuses of the pharmaceutical industry. Despite the unmet and growing need for groundbreaking treatments, clinical trials for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases have been failing over the past few years. However, there has still been great progress in the development of novel therapeutic approaches and targets to treat AD, PD, and other neurodegenerative diseases.

The 8th Neurodegenerative Conditions Research & Development Conference will bring together the leading researchers in the field to discuss topics such as biomarkers, the growing use of tau as a target, the role of non-profit groups in accelerating research, and many more.

An overview of the agenda:

  • Novel Therapeutic Targets and Approaches in Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Novel Therapeutic Targets and Approaches in Parkinson’s Disease
  • Novel Therapeutic Targets and Approaches in Neurodegenerative Conditions
  • Biomarkers: Translation from Discovery to Clinical
  • Panel: The Role of Foundations and Patient Groups in Research
