Developing an Interdisciplinary Research Agenda for Genetics of Birth Defects

Wednesday, January 22, 2014

Washington Dulles Airport Marriott, Sterling, VA

The “white paper” summarizing the meeting proceedings and major conclusions will be published, shared via NIH and CDC websites, and distributed to participating stakeholders for further dissemination. The intent is for NIH staff of relevant Institutes to use this as a blueprint for furthering a more coordinated funding effort. On another front, NICHD is moving forward to organize a Trans-NIH Structural Birth Defects Working Group and this document will be used for planning future cooperative initiatives to further the research goals outlined.
