European Human Genetics Conference 2007

Dear Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to join us at the 39th European Human Genetics Conference (EHGC) in Nice, France, in June 2007. This meeting will continue in the successful tradition of excellent conferences that cover the latest developments in the field of human genetics that are of interest both for clinicians and research scientists.

Located on the French Riviera between Cannes and Italy, Nice offers numerous walks through the narrow streets of its old town and along the “Promenade des Anglais” before entering into the heart of the city with its rich architectural and cultural heritage. Nice has numerous museums and galleries, such as the Matisse Museum which is situated on the hill of Cimiez, not far from the Franciscan monastery with its Italianate gardens, the Hotel Regina where Matisse lived, and the Gallo-Roman ruins. In June, beaches and night life represent other attractive facets of the city. Nice is also a modern town with numerous research laboratories and institutes which belong to the University of Nice- Sophia-Antipolis.

Nice is easily accessible for delegates through its international airport, close by the city. We shall greatly appreciate your participation in the 39th EHGC and look forward for hosting you in Nice in June 2007.

With best regards,

Véronique Paquis-Flucklinger
