During the event, which lasts from 10.00 until 19.00, we are going to hand out informative material about the Greek Alliance and other Patients` Associations, from our kiosk, while scientists-members of our Alliance will give answers to the public`s questions. Information about Eurordis – the European Organisation for Rare Diseases – will also be distributed and Eurordis`s role in the EU will be explained to the Greek public.
There will be a juggling show to amaze all the passers-by and plans include a release of balloons with names of rare diseases, as a symbolic action, while plenty of other balloons will be handed out to children.
The event aims to inform and alert the public about rare diseases, so as to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
