Hydrocephalus – Emma’s story

A rare condition where the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid is impaired by dilated brain ventricles which causes the fluid to accumulate in the skull and hence result in increased brain pressure.
Emma’s parents, Jennifer and Bill Richards of Litchfield Park talk about the symptoms Emma showed when she was just twelve days old that led to her diagnosis. Pediatric neurosurgeon S. David Moss, M.D., Emma’s doctor, explains hydrocephalus, how it is treated, and talks about Emma and her prognosis.
