A brief description of an extremely rare disease, Stiff Person Syndrome.
It took 13 years to get my diagnosis. I saw several Neurologists in a number of states before finally receiving my diagnosis and treatment. It was too late to prevent my own disability. My goal is to raise awareness of the disease by any means necessary.
Ignorance is the enemy.
Awareness is the key.
